i downloaded and installed 1.1.1.1 WARP and ran it, and it said it connected, but as soon as i press ‘finsh’ on the installer, it closes out and the app wont launch when i try to open it. any help is appreciated.
Has anyone found the fix? Mine just appears on the task manager for a few seconds and then it just disappears. Restarting and reinstalling doesn’t help…

Check if you have TAP-adapter on your windows maybe its missing
You may want to check your system’s logs or try installing via MSI with cmd to see errors.
Same thing is happening to me: I can install it and configure it, but can’t open it. After restarting my PC I have to install it again in order to work.

yep i have the same problem, even if i dont restart my PC i still have to reinstall it and then it works, but then the same thing happens where i press ‘finish’ on the installer and then it closes the app and it doesn’t open again
It ends up is just a bug in the UI, I have to use the warp-cli interface but it works.
For those who want to know how what I did:
Connect with it using the CLI interface through the tutorial provided by Cloudflare here. For those who know what i’m saying, here is the step-by-step:
- Open cmd and change the directory to the installation directory of WARP, mine is
C:\Program Files\Cloudflare\Cloudflare WARP - Create a new free registration by typing:
warp-cli registration new - It should show
Sucess,now to connect WARP type:warp-cli connect - To disconnect, type:
warp-cli disconnect
I have fixed it by running the CLI UI, as this is the GUI bug. I have used this for 3 years bro…But i appreciate the help
Seems like you’re not supposed to open it from the .exe file or from the Start menu, but from the Taskbar, from the ^ icon…
Edit: clicking on Finish or anywhere else on the screen is basically clicking out of the application, so it hides it lmao

I don’t know why, the program is running, but I can’t open the GUI via the system tray. I tried this while the program open in task manager and it says connected and the icon lit up.
