Another computer trying to access my VPN software

The antivirus software on my computer just gave me a notification that says another computer (gives IP address) is trying to access my VPN software on my computer. Is this something I should be concerned about?

In case it is relevant, I live alone, and my WIFI network is password protected.

It happened 2 times in a row, and I clicked block both times.

Update: I ended up on a remote session with the antivirus because I couldn’t find any record of the popup messages. The support agent told me that it is the antivirus interpreting the VPN software as another device because of the fake IP the VPN generates. So not to be concerned.

Some softwares flag any interaction as an attack, my local provider connection app stops dozens of ‘‘Attacks’’ a day which are nothing more then pings, sometimes from their own status updates.

Its a mental trick to make you think you’re paying for something worthwhile.

Sounds like malware trying to get you to do something, or perhaps it’s confused because the unknown other computer could be you with the VPN on

Do you have a VPN server running in your computer? If it appears again, check if it mentions any port.

I will… and I’ll take a screenshot. Would it add any value if I happened to remember the IP address referenced in the popup?.. because I do

Edit…
I’m not sure what a VPN “server” is. I’m am only using Express VPN

Hum, I don’t know, I don’t think so. I don’t even know if it would break some rule of this sub (really, don’t know). But can you check if this IP address is public or not? I mean: if it belongs to the Internet, or to your own network? Check your own internal IP address, and check if they look alike, except for the end. Open Command Prompt, run ipconfig and look for the IPv4 address. But don’t publish your public IP here!

My mistake. Respond incorrectly and edited.
I don’t know what a VPN “server” is. I’m only using express VPN.

I’ve checked my IP and it does not match my own IP at all.

I just tried to search it as a URL in Chrome and noticed the word NGINX below it after 403 error Follow up search says NGINX is a web server or we proxy. All of this is greek to me. To be honest.
