If so, what service have you used? Ideally I’d like to order before we fly across the pond and have the groceries at our resort the day after we arrive.
But obviously we don’t have access to services like instacart, amazon fresh and the like here in the UK region.
I have an amazon prime membership… I wonder if that will switch from Morrisons to amazon fresh once I’m in the USA?
Not sure how it works for iPhone, but here’s how you do it on Google. Get a VPN, switch to an American server, and then sign up for a new Gmail account. Then log into the app store from that email account. You will then see the American Google play store. You can then download American apps like instacart and Kroger.
I’ve ordered from garden grocer before. Was expensive (but then groceries are more expensive in
). Arrived at the resort fine, bell services refrigerated items that needed to be. Got charged $6 handling fee by the resort and then tipped to get them to take it to my room.
Using them again a week tomorrow when we go for our welcome home stay as new dvc members at the grand Floridian!
I am not from the UK, but I use Instacart in WDW.
We are currently at Pop Century. We used the Instacart website to have a Publix supermarket shop delivered to Bell Services ready for us to collect when we arrived. Can’t fault it.
Not from the UK but you could download the Kroger app. They give free delivery often (usually there is a coupon for the first time) and they don’t accept tips.
We’ve never had things delivered but we also get an Uber to somewhere just off property to stock up on beers for the room
I think you can also use Vacation Grocery delivery.
When we were at AKL two weeks ago we saw Kroger there several times making deliveries.
UK based and we ordered from Walmart (website) to Coronado Springs. I think my boyfriend changed his VPN to order in advance, and organised delivery for day of arrival.
It was super easy, and bell services even kept the refrigerated items in a chiller until we could collect.
Thanks. I’m Android so will give that a try!
Used garden grocer a couple of times and been brilliant!
I did this too (from Canada). I didn’t want to have to open accounts everywhere, or mess up my existing accounts to try and get things delivered.
Thanks! But the kroger app isn’t available for me to download here in the UK. I suppose I could just go on the website via a browser and make an order though.
And your first delivery is typically free and the total fee discounted to boot
Same here, don’t know if it’s cheaper doing it that way or not haha but I just find it fun to go around the grocery store since there’s so much stuff we don’t have at home
Hi, I was wondering how you ended up ordering in the end? I am from UK and would like to pre order from AMAZON FRESH so the order is there on our arrival. Thanks in advance for any tips
Hi there, we didn’t end up ordering from anywhere before we left the UK in the end! We arrived at our accomodation quite late so I just popped out to a 7eleven for some breakfast essentials the night we arrived then we went out and did a full food shop the following morning.
We did use Uber Eats for beer deliveries to Pop Century a bit later in the holiday though!
