Well that’s only one variable among many. Your download speed can’t exceed your vpn’s server’s speed limit. Some free plans intentionally limit the speed untill you upgrade it too.
paid proton gives
FTFY.
Although payed exists (the reason why autocorrection didn’t help you), it is only correct in:
-
Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. The deck is yet to be payed.
-
Payed out when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. The rope is payed out! You can pull now.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
Beep, boop, I’m a bot
I’ve been pirating games for like, a whole year now without a VPN and nothing has happened. A friend told me that its better if i do have a VPN on.
Shitty speeds, limited gbs and needing to use several of them?
Even so, you can get a custom plan for like $2, useful for this kinda thing but not so useful if you wanna access a ton of locations. I pay $2 for one location that I get unlimited bandwidth on and then if I wanna use other locations I use the free ones
depends on which country you live in
Dont use windscribe they sell your email and phone to third parties . They are the only digital product ive purchased and now years later im getting spam of text randomly on my phone
I live in the US, a friend of mine said that they tried to pirate cities skylines i think, and after a day they got a message from their network provider telling them to not do that. Sound fake but idk
I have used windscribe for years with no issues, unless you have proof then your issue is unrelated.
Many scam/spam companies call random numbers in order and hope they get through, without you having given your number. That’s how elderly people get abused and have their money stolen without them going online and giving anyone their number.
Last I checked windscribe were/are very good at keeping your information safe and not selling it
Major ISPs in the US monitor your online activities that’s why using a VPN is a good idea. If you are with a smaller ISP then you should be fine. They don’t normally care that much.
Theres proof if u look under slickdeals posts when they have deals on windscribe a bunch of others have talked about it in the comments and alot are refusing to resign up with windscribe . I was also a windscribe subscriber from what i remember they sold the vpn company even tho they said windscribe would never sell out
I have optimum, i 100% know they watch me, they just dont do shit about it
Legally they have to advise you of the wrong that you are doing before they take any action, so if they don’t then enjoy
