Wasn’t this regulation announced a year ago? Popular vpn services like nord and proton discontinued their Indian servers long time back
Simple VPN still works, but as per government order, any VPN that requires login cannot work in India unless they share the login data with government agencies.
Use Mullvad. They work fine and don’t collect any user data. And the government hasn’t blocked their app from play store although they also don’t retain user data. In fact, they don’t even store normal user details that other providers does. Even if the app is taken down from Play Store, you can always get it directly from their website.

Servers were removed long ago by most vpn operators but now vpn companies are stopping the services so basically it means you won’t be able to use vpn even if you pay them , some still seem to be working currently like Kaspersky, surfshark , nord , proton , etc but don’t know how long it will last, Kaspersky has a 200mb daily free limit if you have subscription to antivirus then it is 300mb, there’s privido vpn that has 10 gb monthly free limit as well
is turbo vpn decent? i have been using it since a long.
Aren’t the regulations only applicable for servers that run in India? I don’t think there’s a reason that the app should stop working because of it, just don’t provide the Indian server option.
Same happened with 1.1.1.1 dns if im correct
