I’m trying to find a VPN that actually works well and smoothly on Mac OS, as most of them don’t. There are also tons of fake reviews and bots promoting VPNs that are terrible, yet they keep showing up in every conversation. Nord VPN is the one I see recommended the most for Mac and Apple products, but from my own experience, it’s awful! Does anyone have any solid VPN recommendations specifically for Mac OS?
I’ve had the same issue with Nord VPN on my Mac—lots of bugs and connection problems. I switched to ExpressVPN and haven’t had any major issues since. It’s a bit pricey, but the performance and stability are worth it.
I totally get your frustration with fake reviews. I ended up going with ProtonVPN for my Mac, and it’s been working smoothly. No issues with connectivity, and I like that they have a solid free plan if you just need basic coverage.
I’ve been using Surfshark on my MacBook, and so far, it’s been pretty good. It’s affordable and doesn’t slow down my internet speed like some of the others I’ve tried. Might be worth checking out.
If you want something more privacy-focused, you might want to look into Mullvad VPN. It works great on Mac OS, and they don’t require any personal information to sign up, which is a big plus for me.
