Block Ultrasurf Proxy

Hello guys, I don’t know if this is the correct place to post this, but I’m trying to block Ultrasurf proxy, is there anyway to do this? like I know i can block the applications on the Machines but the browsers are another level, I tried using cisco Umbrella with web filtering in MDE, and THAT THING STILL WORKING

Block by filehash, block the url, and even block the IP of the website all in custom indicators under settings>endpoints>indicators.

I mean this could also be done in defender for cloud apps but same difference it just syncs to the indicators list anyways

I’m unfamiliar with this proxy is it built into the browser or a standalone app? If built into the browser you will need to restrict extensions via intune. If a standalone app you can get the file hash via powershell

Use intune to block urls, you’ll see in even chrome and edge polices you need to apply for both.

how i can find the flilehash of a proxy

browser :smiling_face_with_tear: that’s why it is so hard, so i have to force them to use Microsoft Edge then?

thank you very much this is very helpful

No this can be done in Chrome as well in intune. It’s under devices > configuration and then create a new config to block all extensions other than the ones white listed. If I can fine a good article I’ll link it

thank you very much, i really appreciate this

Of course best of luck
