Can someone guide me how VPN provide access to other countries' Netflix shows?

If I have Netflix account for my home country. And I used VPN to access Netflix for the other country. Then can I use my personal home country’s account or do I need the account of someone of that region???

The billing country of the account does not matter, it’s the IP address you are connecting from that matters for location detection on video streaming services. Use a VPN (that is not blocked) to connect to any country to get access to that country’s catalog.

Your Netflix account will work over VPN regardless of what country it is routed through. There is no need for another account.

You can re-use your account. Just een your klinkt subscription, want 1-2 dat and reactivate your account using your VPN in the Of het country…

If it’s Netflix account registered to EU country you can’t switch country with vpn.

Yes you can. I have multiple EU accounts that I switch to US all the time.

This only works if you have not been using Netflix in your EU billing country for more than 90 days I think. Read this: https://netflix.fromabroad.org/how-to-change-your-netflix-region-inside-the-eu-when-your-account-is-registered-in-an-eu-country/ . There was EU law introduced which requires EU account to keep the same content when travelling as your billing address country for 90 days I think. I am not sure exactly how it works but apparently no matter if you use vpn or not you see the same country content.

It seems to be more for an EU account in another EU country so if you have a German account and are in France the content won’t change due to the EU roaming rules. That would make sense as you can subscribe to Sky TV DE and use it without an issue in any EU country. Using an EU account with a VPN set to US will still show US content. I do this all the time and quite often watch a German show with my girlfriend and within an hour to so after switch to US Netflix to watch a US show.

I see yes it makes sense to work like that within EU. So having registered EU account in 1 country vpn won’t help to get content from 2nd EU country but it will help to access non EU Netflix.

That’s what I think it’s saying yes. I’ll have to test it later but it would make sense
