Can you get IP blocked from RYM for using Opera GX?

I have been using Opera GX recently and I went unto RYM and my IP was blocked.

Did you turn a VPN on in Opera GX? This could have caused an issue. If you’re still blocked but don’t think you have a VPN on, you can get in touch with the IP that appears on the block page on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, and we can look into it further.

No, I didn’t even know it had one until I read the little blurb that pops up when you are IP blocked about using VPN. Also I don’t really have social media I rarely use this Reddit account anyways.
