Can't find All 4 app on Apple TV

I’ve just setup the Express VPN Router. Everything went smoothly and I connected a new Apple TV to it. The router is connected to Docklands, UK. The ATV was setup in the UK region, GMT timezone. But when I search the App Store I don’t see the All 4 app or the BBC iPlayer. If I install Netflix it shows BAFTA award winners so it is connecting to the VPN at least.

I tried doing a factory reset of a TCL Roku TV and connecting that to the router but UK wasn’t an option for region so I’m not sure if it was a good test. But the app wasn’t available there either.

Anyone know how to get the All 4 app to show up?

Thanks

You need to change the region of your Apple account, but that can cause problems so I’d recommended creating another one and using that on the Apple TV.

All 4 and BBC iPlayer apps are only available on the UK App Store. Connecting to a UK server via VPN or changing the Apple TV region will not make those apps show up. You need to create an alternate Apple ID in the UK region and sign into the UK App Store using those credentials. It sounds onerous, but that’s the only way.

At least the Apple TV makes it easy to switch user accounts in order to download the apps, check for updates, etc.

oh, duh. Of course! Okay, lemme go try that.

How can one create an Apple ID in another region?

Np, I hope it works for you, I had to do the same thing. Happy streaming
