Configuring VPN server on router

I have an AX11000 MU-MIMO Tri-Band Gaming Router

Is it possible for this router to have a separate SSID that functions as a VPN server, so that if my, say, android TV box connects to it, it’s IP becomes that of the configured VPN server to bypasss geolocation blocking for IPTV (already have the subscription, but can’t access certain channels due to my IP).

Any tutorials / guides? thanks

no, but you can quickly enter the settings of the router and hit a check box for your android tv box when you want or uncheck when you dont.

You could get a raspberry pi or something cheap and run openvpn on it.

You’ll have to open a port on the router

You need a paid vpn otherwise it won’t help

It sounds like Asus’s VPN Fusion would be helpful in your situation. Rather than controlling VPN use by SSID, it uses MAC address to determine whether it uses the default Internet connection, or one of possibly several VPN tunnels.

do you mean on my router’s interface, selecting the android TV and routing that through the configured VPN?
