I’ve always used Hola!VPN to watch US shows on streaming sites. Some time last year Netflix cracked down and prevented all the vpns from working but I was still able to watch shows on the Hulu site. I was just watching it last night but today (Feb 1) it keeps saying it’s not available in Canada. Hola!VPN is turned on and set to USA. Did Hulu crack down as well and block usage of Hola!VPN now? I googled it and don’t see anything. Usually when they crack down there is a news release letting everyone know they’ve shut it down but I don’t see anything about it online. Is it working for anyone else?
Hulu seems to be snooping for VPN. I’m in the US and use a VPN. Even if my server is a US server, I still get blocked
Is this something recent? It was working fine in January. It was Feb 1 that I suddenly lost all access.
I’m aware there are vpns that still work for Netflix. They all cost money. I was paying for it and the price kept going up because finding one that worked got rarer and rarer. That’s why I cancelled Netflix and use Hulu which works with a basic free vpn. But now it doesn’t. So my question wasn’t about finding a vpn for Netflix. I was asking specifically if HULU has blocked HOLA. They have never blocked vpns before. They state on their site that they don’t “allow” people to use vpns but you still can. They haven’t been actively blocking them… or are they? That’s my question. Is Hulu cracking down like Netflix did?
Probably. The studios didn’t force it on them at the same as Netflix, but they were always going to.
