Does my isp know I’m on tor

Surely they can see internet activity and bandwidth using I normally run a vpn with tor anyway I have the vpn on unless a site says no to datacenter proxies

I seen disconnect has a vpn and AdGuard has a vpn if I had to choose I’d probably pick disconnect it’s tracking protection seems to be brilliant really smooth on iOS

AdGuard was clunky when I ran it plus I actually like and sorta need Google ads to find unique and worth buying AI tools I’ve found a few good ones a few bad ones found cheap and good irl services like soliciting and stuff.

And yes I use Google still DuckDuckGo fucking sucks ass.

Your ISP can see that you use Tor if they care to check. This doesn’t give them any insight into what you’re using Tor for. If you’re worried about your ISP being able to see that you use Tor, you can use a bridge or a VPN (in which case the VPN provider can see that you use Tor).

What about if you use a Swiss VPN? Awesome privacy laws and such

Yes they know.

And no, they don’t care.

Stop using a vpn! Do you trust the VPN. Yes? Well, you shouldn’t! You never want to route your tor traffic through a vpn! The company can do spooky stuff with that data, you don’t want glowies waiting for you outside your house if you do something not so legal! Just use a bridge if you want to make the isp and the alphabet boys life more difficult. TOR + VPN = privacy nightmare

Always use a VPN(crypto paid, no logs) to connect to Tor your ISP will eventually be told to monitor your traffic in the USA anyways.

Tor with a vpn is a big no no! It’s a privacy nightmare! Just use a bridge. I would say more about that, but I already said more in a comment above or below and in other comments in other posts about the usage of vpns with tor
