So on top of my app pausing randomly every 5 seconds too a minute (that’s very annoying and I’ve tried to log out/uninstall), I’ve got no orders in a peak busy area after being there for 2 hours. I do use a VPN. Would VPN affect dashing? What else could I do? Cause As a new dasher, I’m starting to get really discouraged
How come you use a VPN during? Turn it off while dashing though.
VPN = hide your location
DD = need your location
Enough said.
It wouldn’t let me dash when using a vpn. Which drastically limits me the work tasks I can complete waiting on a order to be ready.

When you use your VPN are you setting your location to another country? That could affect your DD
I read on here about the VPN messing things up and I used to turn it off every time. Starting about a month ago, I just forgot to turn it off one day and I didn’t notice any difference in orders coming through/not coming through, so I just leave it now. It hasn’t seemed to cause any problems for me, but I do have it set for the state where I am. I suspect it might cause problems if it thinks you’re in the Netherlands. Every so often, I’ll get the angry yellow “you’re not in your zone!” message for a second or two, then it goes away. The app is so glitchy anyway, I doubt that the VPN is making that happen.
