Experience with paid surfshark VPN?

Hi Everyone, Surfshark currently is offering a great subscription deal and i am tempted to signup. Before i do, i was wondering if anyone of you is using the paid version and how is the experience in-terms of connectivity & speeds & bandwidth? It offers ‘unlimited’ devices that could be added, a claim which i am very skeptical of but what is your experience? I have persuaded 5 of my cousins to tag along for subscription and i am looking to add 5 more to have subscription cost divided among 10 of us. Any information or feedback is appreciated.

Unlimited means less then 200 so make sure you don’t disturb it with every person because mind go banned after getting 250+ users

  1. Unlimited devices means multiple OS devices not multiple Androids IOSs simultaneously.
  2. This 80% etc offer is a trap. Come back 2 months back and the offer will be there.

Been using similar 2 year offer (it’s been a year). Have been logged on on 10+ devices no issue.

Speed and locations are great, the only downside is the auto payment. Once your period ends, if you aren’t careful, full payment will be deducted next time.

My suggestion: just buy it, and cancel the auto renewal ASAP.

You can host your own vpn and all you’d need would be a $4-7/month digital ocean vps and even that is optional since you can get a free vps from Oracle cloud.

The only downside is that you’ll require some technical knowledge but you can get someone to do it for you

I think proton vpn is better!

Just keep it to yourself, otherwise really great service. I’m personally using it.

Damn. I don’t know if im just lucky or what. But my free vpn works fine perfectly.

I have been using surfshark from more than a year and I never had any issue even for once, the only downside is limited access to servers (due to our government pulling some strings in the backend)
My surfshark app says you have limited access to servers because your internet connection is restricted (which seems like something our government loves to do, banning things for no reason) other than that it’s a cheaper and better option, proton is the best one but it’s expensive, mullvad is also good and nord has disconnection problem at least for me.
Suggestion: use split tunneling (give your vpn access to the apps you want to access using a vpn ) as I don’t know if they keep logs and a vpn can keep logs of everything you do on internet ( from your account details to debit card information or anything online you type through your keyboard)

Hey as In pakistan the surfshark is not doing good, pakistani Gov.t has actually banned surfshark! As a VPN it is actually damn great!

Surfshark is solid—I’ve been using it for three years. The key is knowing which server to choose. Just be careful not to get banned, as they’ll catch on if you misuse it by sharing it with others.

Most VPNs are owned by zionist companies who spy on their users so make sure you pick the right one. Do your research first.

You can set up your own VPN using open vpn on a VPS. Free, fast and private.

I’d say go with mullvad

I use windscribe paid version. Do you give it a look. Its gives unlimited devices as well.

Also look at nord vpn

Well my client has provided a vpn, so explore that option as well

Thank you for the tip, i plan to keep it among 10 of us. How was your experience with service? Was it fast and truly unlimited? Were you able to stream 4k FHD content while on VPN?

Thank you for the info, how was your experience with service like unlimited bandwidth connectivity?

I will definitely do that, i am planning to pay with sadapay anyways and i unfreeze that virtual card only while making payments. If auto renew is on, and if i do want to renew it, would they charge full fee?

What was lacking in surfshark’s which proton offered? I am using free version of proton but its paid costs more then surfshark.
