Express VPN is Unethical and Bad Customer Experience

For many times I have to request for auto renewal to be removed. Why do you turn the shit on and don’t give users ability to not have it on their plan.

If you subscribe with PayPal very easy to cancel automatic payments through PP and they can’t automatically take your money

Simply send them a message asking to cancel the auto-renewal subscription plan. Circling back, I’m baffled myself as to why they did not add such an option… maybe they’re hoping their subscribers are too lazy to reach out and would rather continue paying for a service they know they won’t be using?

Use Revolut on all recurring subscriptions.

I am using ExpressVPN from one year but there is no issue with there services. I am satisfied with Express VPN.

ran up $700 before i caught it kept auto renewing on its own

Or Privacy.com virtual credit cards. It’s free and solves all problems related to recurring charges or annual subscriptions. You can pause/resume the card anytime. I subscribe (annually) and pause the card immediately. If I decide after getting a “failed to renew” notice that I want another year, just unpause the card.

I won’t use it anymore. Cancelling. I need an alternative that aren’t scumbags

I seemed to have missed something. I do have an option to cancel auto renew in my account - Turn Off Auto Renewal under My Subscription. And I have it turned off.

I know right. They just like stealing subscription

Thanks will look it up.

That’s bad on their part.

That’s another great solution too

Up to you but it’s the best vpn I’ve used it unblock every single streaming service I’ve tried

It asks you three times if you are sure, most people don’t make it all the way through, hence, posts like this.

Send a screenshot to prove. I have to always speak to customer service

Agreed but does yours work with Netflix? Every other site works totally fine and fast but Netflix doesn’t load anything.

I don’t need it to stream anything . lol … I occasionally need a vpn though

Clearly. It’s not like it’s all that difficult to turn off.

Can’t be more plain.
