Dates/Times in Japan FYI

  • RAW will air Tuesdays at 8pm starting October 3rd. ABEMA Show Page Link here
  • Smackdown will air Saturdays at 8pm starting October 7th
  • A special program on September 29th at 9pm Japan time celebrating the broadcast deal
  • Japanese commentary will air on that feed
  • ABEMA is free to watch live during broadcast, VOD is not available according to the program page
  • Premium Live Events will also stream there, but no details provided. Best guess it will be under the ABEMA PPV part
  • It’s over 1 year and 10 months since J Sports channel stopped broadcasting WWE programming
  • No idea if there’s going to be a VPN regional lockout for overseas viewers compared to CyberFight shows that occasionally broadcast there (DDT/NOAH/TJPW/Ganbare). Find out.

If so, that’s wild! I’d have expected WWE to require some kind of exclusivity or something if they were negotiating where their shows air.
