Just to tell you that I have started using Le Chat and it will be my AI from now on. I’m spreading the word around and will be helping growing this community. Hi ! I’m french and I was using OpenAi, switched to Mistral a few weeks ago too. Also changed the API used from GPT-4o mini to Ministral for my AI Discord Bot.
Thanks for spreading the word, hopefully more people will stop using American tech owned by multinationals.
I also stopped using/paying Google Drive and I would suggest anyone to switch cloud storage too.
Part of the trick to having a good model is shear volume of use. The more people you have asking questions and pointing when you think Le Chat has gotten something wrong. That ways the developers can zone in on ways to teach Le Chat to improve.
Really impressed with Le Chats ability to help me with my Mathematical studies though.
Canadian here too and we’re moving to Le Chat as well. Really happy with what we’ve seen so far! Yeah, it’s a journey, slowly migrating all our stack. Looking at mailbox.org for mail and ovhcloud.com cloud infra.

Quite a journey, but well worth it. And Mistral is amazing. I also use Tuta Mail (encrypted from Germany), Qwant browser (French) and Mullvad VPN (Scandinavia). All highly recommended!
