I’ve been using ProtonMail Plus for about a year now, and it’s been great. I’ve also been using the free version of ProtonVPN for a while, and I’ve been thinking about upgrading to VPN Plus to get the extra features and better performance.
Here’s the thing: it feels like there should be an option to bundle these two services together. Paying for both Mail Plus and VPN Plus separately starts to add up, and I imagine I’m not the only one who would appreciate a combined plan that makes it more affordable.
It seems like a win-win: we’d get more value for our subscriptions, and Proton could encourage more people to jump into their premium ecosystem without feeling overwhelmed by the cost of separate plans.
What do you all think? Would you be into a Mail Plus + VPN Plus bundle?
And Proton team, if you’re reading this, is this something you’d consider in the future?
The Black Friday deal was great when I grabbed it even though mail+VPN are all I needed. They could do three tiers mix/match Tier 1 5 VPN and a 5 email addresses. Tier 2 full VPN+Mail. Tier 3 Everything. Not sure about the other things because I do not use them.
While it isn’t here yet, I’d just like to point out that Mail Plus and VPN Plus together are (if you calculate) $8.48 / month. Unlimited is only $1.5 / month more and it gives you full access to SimpleLogin Premium, which is an amazing product in combination with Mail.
isn’t it the same price then Mail + VPN?? Unlimited is 7,99, mail 3,49 VPN 4,99.
I am on the unlimited plan, I do not use all of their services. I don’t use the drive for my everyday use. I would not pay for it but since it is included I just use it to backup my photos. The wallet I never opened it.
At todays prices Mail Plus and Pass Plus separately you can get for $6.49. If a combo becomes available, do you assume it would be cheaper than $4.49, which you would pay now if you get a separate Mail Plus account.
And you can forward your SL aliases to your Mail account. I found that there are actually advantages to having 2 accounts.
Should they offer the combo for less than $4.49 you can always merge your accounts later.
