I have a paid version of Norton 360 installed and am really sick of the pop-ups asking me to connect VPN. I have VPN turned off and I thought I had all the notifications set to off but it keepson popping up everytime I connect to my hotpsot.
At this point my plan B is to uninstall Norton and go back to the free version of AVG
When the notification pops up again, hover your mouse over the X in the top right, there should be open icons that pop up. One of them is never show me this again, click it, done.
Norton is not worth the money. They are constantly trying to upsell you or interrupt you. I don’t believe there’s anyway to turn it off other than connecting to the VPN or uninstalling it
Uninstall Norton and get the free version of bitdefender or Kaspersky
Right click Norton 360 in the item tray, go to my Norton, you can permanently disable the VPN there

Both of them are far better than Norton
I just saw this. I didn’t know Kaspersky was a Russian cybersecurity company.
Because Norton is just plain bad software which has tons of annoying pop-ups, worse virus detection rate and the fact that it costs way too much. The free versions of both of these that are programs are better in almost every way.
