How do I run a server using Hamachi

Trying to run a server literally just to have 2 friends join me and I can’t find a proper tutorial on how to set this up for the life of me

Hamachi will make it slow and laggy like hell.

You just need to do some port forwarding in your router (or just turn uPnP on in some cases and the router will do it for you). I can’t recall the exact port number(s) you need to forward but you can Google them I’m sure of it… because I did at the time too.

you just use hamachi like normal, you should be able to find some guides for that.

Once hamachinis set up you just start up a single player world and open to LAN in the esc menu.
After that your friends can join you by inputting your IP adress in the multiplayer memu.

I wouldn’t recommend Hamachi it’s pretty old and jank

I’d recommend ZeroTier or Tailscale instead

But it’s as easy as your friends putting in your specific VPN IP address and connecting

This should help a bit. I suggest using both methods, in the first part, and seeing which works better for your group. Make sure the one with the best upload speed hosts.

I agree that Hamachi is really bad now. I can also recommend Radmin vpn for a similar experience as hamachi.
