I wanted to share my experience with optimizing my Netflix subscription using a VPN and gift cards. Back in 2022, I created my Netflix account in Turkey using a VPN and purchased gift cards. Initially, after disconnecting from the VPN, I encountered a block that informed me I couldn’t use Netflix in my country. I simply waited 30 days, and since then, my Netflix has worked perfectly.
At that time, the Premium subscription was 90 TL, but it has steadily increased every three months, reaching 230 TL per month today. I live in France and use my account without a VPN, except when I need to recharge my subscription. For that, I buy gift cards for a one-year duration from resale websites. Then, I activate a VPN with a Turkey location (I use Urban VPN) from my browser and add the gift card codes.
However, the gift card addition often doesn’t work directly. In such cases, I contact Netflix customer service, and they manually assign the codes to my account.
This method has allowed me to enjoy Netflix at a much more affordable rate. I hope this tip helps those of you looking to save on your subscriptions!
I’ve made my subscription with my credit card with a VPN, used a VPN for 30 days and now I just use it normally and everything works perfectly. No need for those gift card.
The price increasing to 230TL/month was the nail in the coffin for me. Not worth it anymore and I have exhausted my options to get it for cheaper too, so I have just canceled for good. I don’t think I’ll be back on this streaming platform. They will raise the price from 230 to something even more outrageous soon anyway, since in the last few months they kept hiking the price for me.
They are a bunch of morons: they could have kept taking the money from me (and many others I feel) yet they keep trying their best in pushing people to cancel. It’s honestly mindblowing.
Everytime I try to create a new account in Netflix to redeem my turkish gifcard it shows a message saying temporaly out of service and I am using Mullvap vpn. How can i solve this issue?

But instead of all the constant fucking around with gift card top ups, VPNs, phone calls to customer service…why not just pirate what you want to watch… it’s easier than the amount of fucking about you do.
Download app, set up, click show/movie… enjoy viewing from encrypted file hosters.
Oh … and it’s cheaper, and you get every movie and every streaming service, and it’s not at risk of being geo locked.
I too receive restriction messages asking me to change the main home or add a code for 15 days. To solve the problem, I simply created a dedicated Netflix e-mail address and shared the mailbox so that the codes would be generated automatically. As for TV, they change the main domicile.
Hello, I find your technique very complex. Finding a Turkish card when you don’t live there, complicated valid Turkish phone number. Mou I just reload the account with gift cards with the duration that want. And that’s all.
