As Noticed You Cannot Use Adguard And A VPN Together But That Will Change.
Step 1 Chage Your Phone Wifi Settings
Step 2 Set The DNS to 94.140.14.14 and 94.140.15.15
step 3 save
step 4 connect to vpn
step 5 done
Are you referring to any VPN service or AdGuards own VPN if so you can,just have to enable split tunnel mode under advanced settings AdGuard VPN app 
if not carry on of course have a great day!
What is your android version?
it’s for other vpns. I used hotspot shield to test and it worked

Ahh ok,understood I own the AdGuard VPN app and now my AdGuard dns and VPN play nice together,only issue for me is I sometimes have to enable airplane mode and reconnect for them to connect correctly
Then you don’t need so much effort.
In your phone settings, search for PrivateDNS.
Enter dns.adguard.com in it, and it will work for every network, be it WiFi or mobile data. The data is encrypted too, since it uses DoT.
So you don’t need to configure dns servers individually anymore for every wifi connection.
The PrivateDNS feature only exists for android and above. Let me know if you have trouble.

since when was that in andriod because oneui 2 never had this and that was andriod 10

I have been using this for about a year now, and I am using android 10. And for that matter, I don’t use adguard dns. It’s very slow in my location and occasionally goes out, NextDNS works much better for me.
but does nextdns have adblocking

They don’t have any restrictions by default. It’s completely customizable. Use whatever filters you want to use. Let’s say you use OISD for Adblocking and forget the rest. That works too.
And the parental blocking doesn’t work unless you set it up manually.
