I have bought every EA Sports NHL game since 2017. I like to play Versus but 90% of the opponents use some sort of bs tactic such as lag switches and the like. To be honest I don’t exactly what they use. So I purchased a vpn router. When I try to connect it to versus it won’t connect. Any advice would help.
I hope you don’t take this the wrong way, but most players don’t use lag switches. It might be your connection.
But to actually answer your question, If you purchased the VPN router and that didn’t work, I can’t imagine any other VPN service would work, sounds like they have it blocked.

Like I said I don’t know exactly what it is. But its not the connection. There are several other ways from what I understand. ip booting, de-sync etc. and I suppose the only way to contest it is to do it back to them but that doesn’t interest me. Thank you though
You’re using wifi. I know this because these problems only happen to people using wifi.
Plug in your console to Ethernet and I guarantee that your opponents will no longer be using lag switches and cheating.

I only suspect I get booted once every 400-800 games. I DC maybe once in 200, but most of the time its my entire internet going off.

I know people who play with top tier interwebs connection and they get either full games/periods of a choppy connection…the one thing they all seem to share is playing over wifi
If they care enough about it they ethernet it and it becomes way less or they don’t and put up with it over wireless
You may have a great connection but it doesn’t mean big Al from Roanoke who you are facing does
