I figured out how to watch TRSNMT ON BBC iPlayer outside of the UK

Ok so people including me have tried watching it with a VPN only for it to not work. You have to create an account and say that you live in the UK for this to work.

  1. Download Hola VPN extension for Chrome or whatever browser you prefer.
  2. Go to BBC iPlayer - Home and create an account and make sure you select UK for country and use a random postcode that you can look up.
  3. Search for arctic monkeys on iplayer, press play on the TRSNMT video and select “I have a TV license”.

I tried doing this but Hola kept crashing when I selected UK while registering.

I don’t think you even have to create an account I live in the uk and every time it asks me to create one I click back or off and it lets me use it without

What browser did you use? I used Google Chrome instead of Safari like I normally do.

It detects that you aren’t in the UK if you aren’t signed into an account even if you are using a vpn.
