I just tried Ultrasurf for the first time, is there a way to use it with Chrome instead of IE? Sorry if this is the wrong subreddit.

Start Ultrasurf (Maybe try this last if starting it first doesn’t work)

Open Chrome up

Type “chrome://settings” in the address bar (no quotes)

Click Show Advanced Settings (or similar)

Click Change Proxy Settings

Select LAN Settings

Check the “Use proxy server for…” field

Fill in 127.0.0.1 for the address and 9666 for the port

Hit Ok out of each window still open

This should do the trick but I haven’t personally tested it so I can’t confirm it will. To disable Ultrasurf you can follow the same steps but Uncheck the “Use proxy server for…” field. Pretty much you just need to manually set the address for the proxy that is being used by Ultrasurf, which appears to be the localhost address 127.0.0.1.
