Is anyone aware of a good guide on how to set up an IKEv2 VPN Server on RouterOS 7
I used to use L2TP/iPsec but just got a new Android 13 phone and need to get this to work
I tried following multiple guides for IKEv2 but they seem to differ from my router with ROS7

I would recommend to use wireguard way more easy.

I’ve setup exactly this last week. Im using official sample for road warior on mikrotik wiki.

I’ve done it with Mikrotik to StrongSwan. You could use the same setup for Mikrotik to Mikrotik.

This was on v6. It shouldn’t be too hard to convert to v7.

ikev2 is fine and secure but it really can be a pain.

The cost / benefit of installing Wireguard out-ways any of the negatives.

I prefer not having an other App, only IKEv2 is built into the OS

Is that on an iPhone or where do you connect from ? I had a lot of problems on an iPhone. Guess it is a certificate issue.

I already have OpenVPN, L2TP and Wireguard

you can also look at SSTP which is also built into windows and a bit easier

wireguard is basically supported by more devices
