Hello everyone,
Is there anyone who knows or successfully tried to install the „Checkpoint Endpoint VPN Client“ on Steam Deck?
There is a guide on how to install it on Linux on Github using „apt-get“ but I guess that wouldn’t work on SteamOS which is Arch based, is that right?

You use the pacman command in place of apt-get. Not sure if it’s part of the standard repo or anything though.
But is it safe to use pacman instead of apt-get? Do both commands function the same? Sorry I‘m still new to Linux world.
Arch doesn’t use apt-get at all. Chatgpt is a great resource for help with commands. But also a lot of these are on Google bc the decks file system is a little different than your standard arch file system as it’s meant to be immutable. You can still make it mutable but all changes will be erased when you update as far a lot of the file system goes.
Thank you very much for your helpful information
