Is Kaspersky or AVG trustable antivirus/vpn?

I’m looking for an antivirus for my cellphone and laptop, also want to protect my data and ad blocker function would be a win (if I have to see another YouTube ad I’m going to cancel my membership to this life). I was thinking on surfshark VPN but is too expensive for me so I’m looking for something cheaper but trustable :'3
Please tell me about your experience with this antivirus, I’ll be happy to read any other suggestion too.

Kaspersky is a great AV, free or paid.

Avast/AVG were previously exposed as selling user data, and continue to include scareware-esque ‘upselling’ spam in their notifications and even scan results.

Why do you want a VPN?

uBlock Origin should be all you need for ad blocking.

I like Kaspersky a lot. The pop ups can get annoying tho

Thanks for your comment!!! I want the VPN for protect my data and sometimes I want to buy a burrito for my bf (he lives in the USA and I live in Mexico)

Kaspersky > Settings > Interface > disable News and Promotional notifications

A VPN is not going to protect your data. If you need to bypass geo-restrictions, a decent free VPN would be plenty, e.g. ProtonVPN or Windscribe.
