Is there a way to unblock everything on a school computer? if so, how?

There are ways but all of the will get you expelled… Good luck and make smart choices

Boot with another OS maybe

Easy.

You graduate, go back to school, get educated, become network administrator and then you have all the power to unblock everything.

If you do then you are likely violating the Terms of Use (or whatever your school calls it).
And probably not. And if you could, records of you doing it would be saved on school servers.

Log in with a teacher’s username and password. Their computers aren’t blocked. Good luck getting it, but that’s the best I got

I did this in school and now I’m an IT guy. Trust me, it’s really not worth the trouble.

Change the domain policies.

My first year teaching (2018), the curriculum had YouTube videos embedded in the lessons almost every day but it was somehow blocked for me. I contacted IT Helpdesk several times but it never helped. But every day I would catch students watching YouTube videos. So one day I asked a kid to help me with the YouTube videos.

He told me to switch over to incognito mode and said, “How do you think we watch porn in school?”

It actually worked for most of the year that was left, then IT caught on. I went to another teacher who has teenage sons to ask if she know what to do. She said, “You need to set up a VPN. that’s how my boys watch YouTube videos while they’re waiting for me to leave after school.”

So, ask a teacher with teenagers.

Yes, it’s very easy. You simply enter the admin username and password.

No. And it’s dumb to think you can without consequences.

You could have just asked “how do I unblock pornhub on a school comp” and no one would have judged you.

Unplug ethernet, boot to usb and reinstall windows. Your IT department will find out pretty quick that it’s been wiped clean so it’s really more of a temporary thing or just for lols. Done this to about 5 school computers and got away with it. My school’s IT were pissed that year. Wasted so much of their time.

Our computers still have blocked sites, same as the student computers, since we are all using them under the school board domain.

Even if you log into a laptop as a guest on wifi that isn’t the schools?

Hmm… Not exactly sure, but I would think guest wifi would also be managed

Not guest wifi at the school. Like you take it home and use your personal wifi.

What are you trying to unlock?? The use of certain websites? Well, you’ll have a search history on a computer that is easily traceable and it would result in severe consequences. The idea is not good.

Its not my idea, its OPs xD
