Luna VPN stopped working for youtube app

So its been 2 days now, im using an iphone 12 and the youtube app and i noticed that youtube is now showing me ads even with the luna vpn on. other apps seem to still work without ads, insta facebook etc. even when i go on the browser safari and go on youtube there i cant watch videos. instead it gives me this message “invalid response received” so im guessing youtube updated with some sort of new ad tactic? Does anyone know how to fix this? or maybe another vpn that blocks youtube app ads? thanks!

EDIT : its working again as of 12 March 2021. Everything is back to normal at least for me. Fuck youtube ads. Thanks luna :heart:

Same. It freakin sucks. YouTube is so dang greedy with their 4 ads per video. It makes me not wanna consume yt anymore.

Yeah same, tho for me only some apps work without ads. I originally thought YouTube somehow got past it but I believe it’s a bigger issue on Luna vpns side since other apps get ads now.

It seems to be working for me again here in the UK. I turned it back on and restarted my iPhone. Haven’t had any ads yet on YouTube. Fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:t2:

You can install YouTube vanced, it basically YouTube premium but you don’t need to pay.

It’s not working anywhere, not just YouTube. Obvs a bigger issue over at Luna
