Mozilla VPN - MacBook slow while on iPhone works fast

Yesterday I got Mozilla’s VPN and would like to stay there to support Mozilla.
However, it is extremely slow and unstable on the desktop, regardless of the browser (Firefox, Zen, Edge, Chrome).
So I actually wanted to cancel it again BUT:

I have no problems at all on my iPhone 12 mini. No matter which site I use or location, it works perfectly and is fast. Even Netflix works.

Does anyone know anything about this and maybe has a way to fix it?

I have a Macbook M1 and mainly use Firefox with a few extensions like uBlock Origin (turning it off didn’t fix the problem)

Since you’re paying for this service, you can use the official support site.

I would uninstall the vpn, reboot and re-download the installer from here:

Install, reboot, try again.

It seems it has to do with my wifi setting. I used mobile hotspot and it worked well on my macbook. Does anyone has an idea which settings could cause the trouble?

  • Privite wifi adress is rotined
  • IP Tracking is restricted
    Both options i turned off and its still didnt worked

Thank you for the advice. I did but unfortunately its still doesnt worked out. I will try it on my windows pc again an let you know

I wrote the support of mozilla as well maybe they have an answer and i will let you know
