Opera DESKTOP browser VPN proxy and privacy?

I have read numerous threads about Opera but would like some clarification since they have so many services. I already have a paid VPN provider but Opera is faster when I just want private web browsing. From their website, it seems like their paid VPN (surfeasy) and their DESKTOP browser proxy is NO LOG while the app proxy (android and IOS) DOES log.

Opera VPN as part of the Opera web browser for computers:
Free – we just want you to use the Opera browser

Limited to use inside the Opera browser

Maybe advertising later.

 

So from above it seems like the Opera browser for desktop is STRiCTLY no log while their mobile app admits it logs your data. Am I missing something? Would you trust the desktop version for privacy?

Perhaps they use different VPN service providers for different platforms? I wouldn’t comment on the trust part, I know far too little to give any insight beyond that.

I don’t really know about how private it is. When I used Opera VPN it still got blocked, I don’t know why.
