I turned on VPN and tried to download a video and it said 6 KB/s so i disabled VPN and tried downloading it again but it still doesn’t work, I’ve tried everything, can anybody help?
Opera’s built-in VPN can be slow, so that’s normal.
Without the VPN, Opera should get the same download speeds as Chrome. If the download is slow, it’s probably the server serving the download/video stream to Opera that’s being slow.
In some cases, Opera’s download speed issues can be fixed by going to the URL opera://settings/clearBrowserData, clearing history for all time, going to the URL opera://about, taking note of the “profile” path, closing Opera, and deleting the History file in the profile folder.
The server is likely a slow server in the first place.
