Does anyone have any idea how streamers seem to be playing against themselves in tournaments? I have 3 accounts at similar levels and 2 devices and have tried to ‘play game’ simultaneously however it has not worked once! Yet I see the likes of neo doing this for 18 holes!? There must be a knack to it. Anyone??
I’m not tech savvy but I think I’ve heard they’re using a vpn network to do it.
In master it’s very simple as there are so few players playing. You need two devices. Press play hole around 3-5sec after you press on one of the accounts. Voila, you will most likely match up. However, you need to be quick as it’s always your turn. But it’s a brilliant way to save time if you can handle it
I think they log in to play the tourney at a time few people are playing using accounts with similar trophy counts and tier. I’ve seen Neo do it but not since the new tier format.
Not sure how to do that but it would make sense. I’ve tried loads and never got matched up once. They get it every hole
I’ve read this before and every time I wondered: do they use their VPN to choose the same IP addresses OR completely different IP addresses in order to trigger the match up?
Thank you tommy. I am not quite ready for master yet haha. Maybe that is what it is as there seems to be loads of players in pro. I did notice the music guy seemed to be delaying pressing the second play button so I will try that. Thanks for taking the time to reply
Yes he has done it on the new format too.
They use it to go to areas where there arent many players on.
I think the only other division is Expert tier 3. But if there is a lot of players which there is everywhere else then it’s close to impossible to match up yourself.
There is always the risk that you get another opponent on both accounts and that could destroy the whole game for you
Tell me about it Tommy haha that is exactly what was happening!
