How long have or did you use a vpn and have you ever gotten banned for it? Specifically nolag vpn.
For anyone wondering, they 100% work. Not all lobbies are bot lobbies, but the average amount of lobbies you get into are much easier.
Tried it for a month back in cw season 4. It works exactly like u say. No you won’t get banned for it. Stopped using it because kills and wins felt more hollow. Was very good for avoiding cheaters
Nope never been banned for using the VPN & live stats. Use them both to this day.

I find it sometimes makes things worse because sweats are using it…so sometimes you run into teams of 5 kd players just stomping the lobby. Overall though I find it seems to actually get my team FAIR lobbies…you know…lobbies where avg kd equals ours. It’s pathetic that standard matchmaking REFUSES to give my .9 avg team a fair chance. So many of our lobbies are 1.2 to 1.3.

Never been banned. Just started using it this week. Yes I’m using nolagvpn.
Having more fun with the game than I’ve had in months. Feels like when I lose it’s because I was killed in a fair fight and I screwed up. Run into a lot of streamers surprisingly. Or should I say not surprisingly.
I was using nolag from time to time. No bans or shadowbans. I quit using it mainly because it wasn’t working well anymore. If you play rebirth you will get easy lobbies. In caldera it will be hit or miss
I think there are so few players that when you play squads there are only 1.15 - 1.3 kd lobbies. Solos I’m pretty sure they just dump everyone into the same lobby.
I just tell my router not to connect me to a match over 30ms ping
Never been banned, but I never really use it. There are still sweats in every lobby and the lag makes the game much more difficult
while playing in Europe whats the best location to move to with Novpn? for me is beetween israel and south africa. any others?
I feel like the lobbys die quicker with nolag on… Used it for the first time yesterday first 5 matches where higher average lobbys as without vpn… The lobbys kd range where from 1.4-1.5 so i dont know what i did wrong.
My lobbies got a lot harder! Me (1.2kd) and my pals (both 0.7 kd) we’re in constant over 1 KD lobbies, even up to 1.4, it’s shocking and doesn’t work
I’ve been using MatchMake VPN for last few months, never been banded. If you pair the VPN with a geo fence location you get more consistent low lobbies. so for example, geo fence to Spain and VPN to Australia
I’ve been an off and on VPN user for about 8 months now. Tried Sbmmoff until they banned me for asking question about what I saw in their log files and what their software was doing.
I’ve never used Nolag but I figured out how to do what they do with the VPN I already use for work so I just created my own OpenVPN profiles to re-route the sbmm traffic to wherever and you can get bot lobbies but its hit or miss. You end up getting random lobbies so the higher your KD is the more often you get lower lobbies.

What I’ve noticed so far is that there can still be a challenge, the challenge just isn’t as consistent. I run into good players while using it, but I also run into bad and average players as well. It feels very similar to how gaming was before sbmm was ever a thing. Where the people that were in your lobbies were completely random. That’s a much more enjoyable experience to me. I’ve always been a firm believer that sbmm should solely be in ranked modes rather than a casual playlist.
you’re part of the problem man. Sure you may have more fun but your ruining the game for the actual players in the lobby. Vpn should not be a thing
