I got the most expensive plan (because I wanted it). What I got credited from Rakuten was 9576 points. $95.76 is the after tax amount for the $81 plan.
$177.83 Spend for 9576 points seems decent. 53x return.

Yep! That’s one of the cool parts of Rakuten. If you have any deals on other credit cards you still get the MR points
They’re known for collecting more log data and potentially mis-using it than other VPN providers. I encourage being cautious of any cybersecurity vendor that blows a ton on advertising with medium-large influencer channels. That said, Nord is safe enough, but far from ideal.
