Recommendation for a free PC VPN that could connect through a tethering network (from phone data)?

ProtonVPN doesn’t connect on PC through the tethered network from my android phone. Hide.me connected for a while but doesn’t want to connect anymore.
I’m just baffled. Ran out of options.
Any advice?

Don’t use a free VPN. VPNs are cheap and worth the price.

Update: so Howden824 was a gentleman to recommend me Cloudfare warp that in itself doesn’t do the job BUT allows me to connect to vpn. Hats off to you, no beating around the bush and straight to the point

I tried. It really doesn’t do anything

The only way I get tethered network to fully unlock is by connecting the PC to a VPN
