I’m bad at converting time but if I live on the east coast US. I can play at 9 AM EST US on OCT 6th using the New Zealand trick ?.

So if i start a new account for new zeeland… do I have to buy the game on that account? And then always play the game on that account? Or how do I do it.

If I do this on Xbox do I only need to change the region or also the time? So can I play when the clock hits midnight in NZ although my time says 1pm?

7am est. Just change your console location to new Zealand and restart the console you should be good I’ve been doing this for years. If you want to keep track of the time more easily Change your consoles timezone to wellington.

I know that it’s 1pm in German time. And The UK is 1 Hour behind that so it should be 12.

I’ve done this on Xbox before and this is how it has worked. Purchase/Preorder the game like normal, install it, and then switch your location to New Zealand. You don’t have to make a new account just change your location in your settings. You should be able to play it once it becomes available in New Zealand.

You can play tomorrow at 7am est, and you only need to change your location

Thanks. I “know” this don’t work on ps5, you cant change the region like that. So i think you need another user with the new zeeland region. But I’m still not sure where to buy it and if I can play it on my regular account…

I’m on PS5 and I’ve heard that you can get your account banned for doing this. I really want to for tomorrow but I’m a bit sketched about getting banned.

Ah okay then I’m not sure how it works on ps5. You might need a VPN? Maybe you’d better just wait so you don’t buy a New Zeland copy of the game and can’t play it on your main account lol
