Still don't have VPN by Google on my Pixel 7 Pro

I’ve updated my Pixel 7 Pro and can’t figure out why I still don’t have the new VPN by Google.

With a recent security update, I did see something new pop up under VPN: It now shows VPN by Google One under “Built-in” VPN options. That hadn’t been there before. But if I click on that, I get the message “Can’t use this VPN | VPN by Google One isn’t available for this account”

What am I missing?

First read this

If you want to use VPN by Google go to settings

In the search box type VPN

Select VPN under “Network and Internet”

Then select VPN

Then VPN by Google

I use a third party VPN, so I don’t know what VPN by Google is like.

It’s not available in all countries. Are you in one where you’re eligible for the service?

Are you using a workspace account? It also doesn’t show up if you have one (afaik).

Did you read my post? VPN by Google is not there.

USA, and not a Workspace account :man_shrugging:

Doesn’t matter. It’s comes free with his device so he should be able to use it.

Telling him “It’s not really something you should want to use anyways” doesn’t solve his problem.

Yes I did read your post.
I misunderstood what you were asking.
I was just trying to help.
No need to be rude when people are just trying to help.

Try creating a new account, once set, see if it works then. If not then you’ll have to contact customer support. They’ll probably tell you to just factory reset. Just lie and say you already did and see what kind of solution they come up with.
