It looks like you haven’t provided a log file. Without a log file, it is very hard to help with issues and you may end up with 0 responses.

To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:

  1. Restart OBS

  2. Start your stream/recording for at least 30 seconds (or however long it takes for the issue to happen). Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.

  3. Stop your stream/recording.

  4. Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File.

  5. Copy the URL and paste it as a response to this comment.

Did you get this to work? I’m also in China using Astrill and trying to stream to Youtube but can’t so far.

How have you found streaming from China? Considering it, also use Astrill, but worried about connection issues.

Are you guys still streaming from Mainland china with Astrill? I got Astrill VIP and also the specific IP but I can’t get it to work. Even twitch studios is just a black screen when I open it up and there is no activity on the VPN window. I tried all 3, openweb, wireguard and stealthVPN.

Have been using twitch studio so far instead of obs. It ain’t much, but it’s honest work.

dont use obs anymore, twitch studio aint much but its what i use now lol

I actually just got it working then. Astrill VPN tech support told me to use StealthVPN instead of OpenWeb and now I can stream from OBS to Youtube.

Sure, but in general you haven’t had internet issues or things like that? Are you using a VPN router at all?

Can you share your experience? How’s the stream quality and stability?

I’ve done it before by unchecking the ‘tunnel browsers only’ box in the settings. That allowed me to stream to Twitch, however quality wasn’t great and there were frequent disconnects

i don’t stream video games or use a webcam so I don’t monitor it. it just plays a video on a loop. but there hasn’t been any error messages
