Is there a way to use a vpn and get twitch turbo for a cheaper price like you can with YouTube premium? Which country should one choose that works
Probably Turkey, but I definitely couldn’t figure out how to execute it. AdBlock is free. 
That doesn’t work on firestick or iPad etc
I can’t help with iOS, but for firestick you can “enable apps from unknown sources” and install “S0undTV”. I found the github link for you. In my experience it’s much better than the default Twitch app, and there’s no ads.
Enable Apps from Unknown Sources:
By default, this option is disabled for security reasons, but you can easily enable it by following these simple steps:
On your Firestick home screen, navigate to “Settings” in the top menu bar and select it.
Scroll right and choose “My Fire TV” or “Device” (depending on your Firestick model).
Select “Developer Options.”
Under the “Developer Options” menu, locate and select “Apps from Unknown Sources” to turn it on.
You’ll need a downloader app to install s0undTV. Use the search bar on the FireTV home screen and type “downloader”. It’ll be an orange icon with a white arrow.
