[Uplay] (Game) Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction
Currently, it seems to be free in Southeast Asia, only.
Here is what I did:
- activated Singapore vpn,
- click on GET IT FOR FREE BEFORE 02 / 10
- Then Uplay launched and I registered it on my account.

Edit: I had a vpn lying in my pc so I used it, incase you don’t have a vpn use a singapore proxy from here: http://spys.one/en/ (select singapore country)
Also close browser and uplay then set the proxy, then open chrome and uplay to redeem to key!
Some steps to do before you use this method
Make sure your Uplay isn’t runnig. Close it from the system tray as well. Closing just the main window, doesn’t close it completely.
Use a system-wide VPN like Tunnelbear, Windscribe or PIA. Any SEA region works. Singapore works, Hong Kong worked for me, Korea worked for some.
Then follow the method I posted above. The game activates to account like a charm. If you get a activate a key window, you are doing something wrong, make sure you are running the VPN system-wide and not just in a browser. Close uplay completely (use the task manager if you have to) and then click on the launch Uplay button.
Also, once you have it in your account you can safely turn off the VPN, if you want to save some data. ;p
Use A VPN and go to a location in Singapure.
I personally use Tunnel Bear but any VPN will do.

First I had to use a VPN and set the location to Singapore. Then I had to log out of Uplay and let it update. Once the update finished I went back to the website and clicked on the spot that says “GET IT FOR FREE BEFORE 02/10”. After all that it gave me the game for free
I have Windscribe free. Didn’t have Singapore because it’s premium only. I have Hong Kong so I tried it. Worked just fine after I launched uplay and a pop up showed to whether I agree to bind the game to my account.
its simply, just set in windows intermet settings this , and restart browser and claim it, no instalation vpn or something else, after claim just set proxy off and delete adres and port

Well, I click on “Get it for free before 02/10” and it asks me to launch Uplay, so I allow it to and then it asks me for a CD key.
So… that sucks. If it’s only free for some regions, then don’t show it to everybody on your main store page, Ubisoft.

To claim it, though, you need to have uPlay installed in your system.

I just got it and i’m in the U.K.
After uplay has launched just click ‘OK’ ,don’t click the “cd key thing”

Used TunnelBear VPN and set it to singapore. If you get network issues like I did reconnect, I had to reconnect 2-3 times. Then I clicked the link Shade_Slayy provided above and done. I think you can’t claim the game just through web browser so use VPN like tunnelbear.
I tryed with an asian IP but UPlay ask me for a CD key

Ok, so if you want the VPN to work, you need to logout of uplay, activate the VPN (Singapore), and login, it should work
This don’t work for browser VPN, This what I did to fix my problem.

step 1: download avira phantom vpn and install.

step 2: after installation it will ask to restart do it.

step 3: after the computer restarted you would have (avira phantom vpn) on your desktop open it and select Singapore, it take awhile to connect.

step 4: Open Uplay go to your (GAME) scroll down to the free section and you will have Assassin Creed China and Splinter Cell conviction that you can add to your library for free.
Please don’t tell me that it doesn’t work for you, because it work for me and I cannot help you otherwise.
