I’m in Australia and it takes like 45 minutes to find a ranked game (have checked I don’t have a shadow ban and I know about 10 others in the same situation; it’s just lobbies in Australia unfortunately).
Is there a way to vpn elsewhere on PS5 so we can find games elsewhere? Wouldn’t even care if it was on 150+ ping. Is it possible and if so can someone walk me through because I’m a noob with this stuff.
Its been exacerbated by the fact that all the people in OCE who are somewhat serious about ranked don’t even try to queue up in OCE anymore.
Everyone just VPNs to NA because theres no point waiting 45 minutes for a 200ping game when you can just find one in 10 minutes if you’re happy playing on that ping.
Only option ik of is router side VPN / Netduma for console unfortunately.
It’s possible, but you will have to run it on your router/gateway. Some routers can run VPNs natively, if not - it’s easily doable on any RPi device running Linux, which would just sit between your router and console and provide NAT while connected to VPN.
