VPN's for Safari?

Just got a Mac and I was wondering what VPN’s you guys use for Safari.

FWIW, you don’t use a VPN for a browser. A VPN encrypts all of your computer’s internet traffic. It runs separately from the browser - at least it should. I use Private Internet Access and connect via a program called Viscosity.

Mac have built-in VPN client for PPTP and L2TP (also L2TP/IPSec).
Try TunnelBlick for OpenVPN connections. Free and open source.

You can also use SSH Through or Over Proxy but this configuration is for advanced users.

If you need VPN don’t worry about your browser. A VPN encrypts all of your computer’s internet traffic. VPN extension such as Zenmate use for browsers. You need to choose a VPN for Mac. Avoid free VPNs because its risky. You can check out the details of IPVanish, PIA, PureVPN and ibVPN, they support Mac.

IPsec

I don’t use Safari though.

I use StrongVPN. It’s about $55 bucks a year. PPTP and L2TP.

Cheers, i didn’t know if they acted differently on different browsers (as far as bugs i mean) or if they’re all supported on all browsers.

It doesn’t have anything to do with the browser you’re using at all.

A VPN acts on a much lower layer of the network stack than the program you use to look at rendered HTML pages. It affects the way data packets get to and from your computer via the internet (they take a different route than via your usual connection).
