i received this notification through my windscribe news feed on the widscribe interface. it offered the go pro for “just $10/year! Special ONLY to Big Gig users (you must login to see it) and available until Sept. 1st, 2023.” well, i am logged in on the interface, so i clicked on the link and it came up to a pricing page offering the pro version for $5.25/month. so then i tried logging into the website and viewing my account page to make sure that i was logged in. then i navigated back to the pricing page - which had not changed. so i am trying to figure out how to take advantage of this offer.
frankly, even though i have the 50gig lifetime plan, i rarely use it. but i’m willing to throw a few bucks your way just to have the pro version.
but i do have a question: is this $10/year price renewable? or does the price jump back up to $5.25/month after a year?

Barely ever use my 50gb but Windscribe has been great use for me since I joined in 2016.
I will however take advantage of this generous offer.
Someday I will spend some time to take learn how to use all that Windscribe offers.

As the one who’s interested in putin’s expiry more than most, I wasn’t particulary upset about the downgrade. Nothing lasts forever and it’s a great vpn after all anyway. But it’s nice to know that this deal got extended and in such funny manner. But aren’t you concerned that some people may wish long life to someone who really shouldn’t have it?

I was quite surprised by this as what they’re basically saying is we’re going against our agreement we made with you and the contract you signed up for.
Actually, I don’t see $0.83 per month (billed annually) price in the page but I had 50GB before, right now I have only 10GB. Why that is happened r/WindscribeSupport?
As a customer since 2016 off and on as I am disabled and live on a monthly income of less than $900 USD, but have still remained a loyal customer with several diff login credentials you prob can see. This new account has only been active months but I am Looking for the Best Deal for a year? Any discount for disabled people or one’s below poverty or EBT?? I have 60gb account offer not showing for me… why?
Somehow the offer doesn’t activate for me. I used the 60Gb and 50Gb plan in the past and I have the receipts/vouchers. I opened a support ticket, can you look into it for me?

My pro lifetime 40gb which you haven’t stated which does not expire until 2027 and was told to issue a ticket to get it refreshed, on reading all this seems your going back on your word and email ticket I issued way back in 2017, if this ain’t getting renewed automatically as stated then I won’t be subscribing end of
Many people believe they are eligible, myself included, yet not seeing the offer on their accounts.
Suggestion: Save your support team from countless emails and digging to look into this and release a limited-time code for anyone to purchase this plan. You’ll probably attract new users too.
This Putin lifetime add on is pretty dumb. I don’t actually care about the downgrade bc I’ve been using this service without paying a dime for years now and it feels pretty hypocritical to complain about a business needing to make money. But acting coy and saying that you never specified exactly whose lifetime the deal covered is pretty disingenuous. Many companies offer lifetime deals, and it’s generally stipulated in the contract what exactly ‘lifetime’ covers.
The $10 a year deal is great, but how can we know that you won’t cancel it in, say, 5 years time? I’d appreciate a written confirmation that we can keep this annual $10 deal on our accounts forever
Had all these arguments before many years ago with unlimited webstorage when doing websites unlimited just like lifetime means unlimited until we limit it and lifetime means until we decide its life is over.
I will probably take-up the $10 but being in the UK wish there was a £ version but not until the 31st August make the most of my free 60gb and not pay a penny (sorry cent) more.
Also a pity I can’t pay for more than one year at a time like I can with my domain registrations I have my .com’s for 10 years at a time and my .co.uk’s for 2.
