Well r/hulu won’t respond so i need help… downloads are failing with a 403 forbidden error on the ios hulu app(iphone xr), i don’t know how to fix it

Hulu probably can “smell” a VPN a mile away.

If you aren’t familiar with a VPN. This is software that hides where your internet connection is coming from. If you want to watch Netflix shows available on in France for example, you can open a “Paris” VPN connection… Netflix will identify you as connecting from France and let you watch. Of course it’s a cat and mouse game. You could get that HTTP 403 if you use a VPN in general.

Their app is trash. Deleting it and reinstalled worked for me. Shouldn’t have to.

Delete the app and then reinstall. That worked for me.
