I’m already paying for iCloud+ so I get Private Relay included. I don’t have Netflix so being able to bounce around different regions to watch other stuff, is of no interest to me.
What does WS Pro do to justify the extra cost once my plan runs out as I’m using both ControlD and iCloud Private Relay.
I actually use Safari and the Mail app so iCloud Private Relay not working on other mail clients or browsers isn’t too much of an issue for me.
I can’t see a reason why to renew the plan once it runs out and instead rely on the free service every so often if the need arises.
To be honest, if the only apps you worry about are Mail and Safari, then it seems like a good call. It is pretty solid from a security and privacy point of view. The only real drawback like you said is that it doesn’t work with all apps, which of course Windscribe would, so you’re only protecting traffic in Mail and Safari, but if this isn’t an issue for you, it should meet your needs perfectly.
If you’d like a more affordable option from Windscribe, then I recommend the Build a plan option, you can pay $1 for each country you’d like and an additional $1 for unlimited data and ROBERT. So if you aren’t worried about location spoofing, paying $2 a month for your home countries servers and unlimited data is worth it in my eyes.
Nice. I mean I’ve got two years to run on the deal I purchased so it’s nothing to concern myself with for the time being.
I kind of wish iOS supports split tunnelling, that would certainly be something that I would get behind.
It would be great. Sadly, it is an iOS limitation rather than the Windscribe app itself; Apple simply don’t make it possible to split tunnel with VPNs on iOS.
