So I’m getting back into torrenting on my new PC but I’m a little concerned about ISP bans so I think a VPN would be a good workaround for it. I’d also like it for general privacy protection anyway. Can anyone recommend a good free/open source VPN for Windows?
You’ll most likely be throttled on any free VPN on p2p traffic. Most of the well reviewed VPNs are only a couple of dollars a month. I just renewed by 12 month proton subscription for 34$
I am happy with Windscribe. No blocks on torrenting. Free tier is pretty limited though.
Noted. I guess $34 a year isn’t too bad & I heard good things about Proton.
I use it again currently and speeds are great!
Stay away from hide.me , bad vpn provider.
My e-mails address got found when i was browsing using it and got almost a dozen login attempts one day.
I can really recommend checking this spreadsheet out if anyone is looking to get a VPN
