In your experience regardless of which vpn provider; which country typically has the fastest servers, outside of U.S. ?
the one closest to your location.
This depends on what service you are trying to reach using a VPN.
However, you will almost guaranteed experience a bottleneck due to physical distance from the server.
Assuming you are in the U.S: Connecting to a VPN server in South Korea (The country with some of the fastest internet last i heard), and then going to a website or service hosted in the U.S, the speed of the VPN suddenly does not matter as much, as the physical distance is a two way trip to Korea and back.
So whatever is closest to you, is the fastest. I would say, depending on where in the US you are, west Europe or Japan (and then generally speaking Canada, Mexico and the northern countries of south america).
Thanks, but I meant in terms of “technologically advanced”.
Example; I would think some third world person in Africa running a small server would be a lot slower than some advanced place; like someone else mentioned - Singapore.
I wish there was rankings based on this, rather than location - based on just what I would like to know.
Like this?
Just Google it man
Hey thanks !! It isn’t vpn (technology-wise) specific though, but I guess it would be relative to it.
